All those who need to be able to change abrasive wheels as part of their job or for others.

CONTENT

  • The mounting of abrasive wheels, all types.
  • The safe use of hand held cutting machinery as required by the Provision and use of work equipment regulations 1998.
  • The correct personal protection as required by the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992.
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 1994.
  • The correct way to reduce the hazards from hand held cutting equipment and abrasive wheels as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1998.

    NB Instruction & Assessment can be carried out on your own machine.
    Diamond cutting wheels are included in this course.
